London’s  Mayor’s Day  commemorated its 800th anniversary  on   Saturday  14 November amid traditional carnival & pageantry when the new Mayor of London  Jeffrey Mountevans took over  as the 688 mayor marking an event dating back to 1215. However the solemn occasion was marked as London and the UK   joined the Parisien and the French in  solidarity in the aftermath of  Paris terrorist attacks the night before which killed over 130 innocent people.

Diwali Lights up  Armistice Day in London– Worlds are eternally connected knowingly or unknowingly,  as victory of Good over Evil has brought  Light in the Darkness that humankind has been fighting & living  for long times… even in the modern era….Hasnt the world learned a lesson yet from those millions of lives losts ?

On that sunny warm October Sunday which passed  , the crowd at the iconic Trafalgar Square London had a rare opportunity to know about God’s Own Country- Kerala  during the Mayor of  London’s cultural initiative  London Diwali Celebrations. The thousands and thousands who thronged  the stand had a glimpse to see and feel the ”lights & sounds ” of this magnificent destination Kerala, a must visit paradises on Earth.

The traditional Keralan dance such as Mohiniyattom and Nattanam along with  outstanding percussion ensemble Shingarimelam captivated the entire crowd for hours at the whole square. The crowd also enjoyed  Selfie session” with the various  artists on their adorable dance costumes such as Kathkali and Theyam along with the famous Keralan elephant  –Appu.

Nearly  0.2 million Brits visit Kerala every year for its beautiful golden beaches,  charming back waters, house  boat cruises, lofty hills , exotic food , ancient history and traditions including  arts & culture and above all its People.

On the World Tourism Day of 27 September 2015 ,   the  UK’s Kerala holiday specialist Transkerala Global  London along with the SKAL International London and GUILD for Travel & Tourism London commemorated the day by supporting  Cancer  Research UK  (CRUK), one of the UK’s pioneers in cancer research and treatments on their annual fund raising event at the  Night Shine Walk marathon that takes  hundreds of thousands of participants across the Iconic London streets and attractions on the night of 26 September covering 40km  in all our efforts to Beat Cancer sooner. The  celebration culminated  on Monday 28 September with a memorable evening of drinks and canapés at the  Tattershalle Castle London.

World’s top Kayaking professionals came down to #God’Own Country #Kerala to participate 3rd Annual Malabar White water Festival. Nearly 160 contestants  from 20 different countries contested. Event was won by the  New Zelander Mike #Dawson who are crowned ”Rapid King ” of the event &   Beth Morgan of UK lifted the coveted ”Rapid Queen” crown. Two time champ Sam Sutton of New Zealand fairly did this time, but had great time in #Kerala

World Earth Day was celebrated on 22 April, On that day Transkerala Global London along with SKAL INternational London & GUILD T & T London campaigned for Clean-Green Varkala in Kerala by entering in a clean Beach drive.
